Many of our members belong to one or more of the Guild’s embroidery groups. Most groups meet weekly in locations across the Perth metropolitan area and regional WA. They provide a sociable and supportive environment in which to learn embroidery techniques. Most groups have a broad interest in traditional and contemporary hand embroidery. You may work on your own projects with support from other group members or join in the group’s structured learning program.

Some Groups have a specialised focus such as contemporary embroidery and textile art, lace making, or machine embroidery. Once you become a Guild member you can join as many groups as you wish. Groups charge a small fee to cover the costs of room hire.

We're a small, welcoming group of stitchers—ranging from curious beginners to seasoned pros—who come together to create, share, and support one another.

Whether you're working on your own project or joining in on a group theme, there's always inspiration, laughter, and learning in the room.
