Hapsburg Lace Start Stitching Kit
Hapsburg Lace is a type of ornate embroidery that originated in the 16th century and became popular in Austria, particularly in the Hapsburg Court.
The design is worked on hand dyed Aida cloth in a Perle thread. Using simple stitches a delicate pattern emerges.
The kit contains 14 count Aida, Perle 8 thread, needles, scissors, stuffing, and beads.
A special feature of this kit is the unique and comprehensive stitch graphs for every step.
The pin cushion is finished in a Biscornu shape – a French word which roughly translates as irregular or misshapen. Full construction details are included.
The kit also includes instructions for a matching scissor fob.
