Details: The motif of delicate, mismatched floral porcelain tea cups and saucers mimics mid-20th century tea sets. Traditional linework embroidery evokes a nostalgic, home-made charm. The combination of soft pastel blues, pinks and yellows is consistent with colour schemes of the 1950’s and 1960’s kitchenware. Each tea cup is stitched in a different embroidery stitch and shade of brown. The delicate floral patterns are worked in mismatch shades of colour with small metallic embellishment.  Read More...
