Stumpwork for Beginners

Delicate Pink,

A chance to try the techniques of wired raised embroidery, with a couple of different finishes.

It is worked on pale silk dupion, a delicate drooping organza flower, emerging from fresh greenery.

A complete kit will be provided, so that you just turn up with your usual sewing box, and a light and magnification if required.

You will also need a 6in and 4 in hoop,
Fine marking pencil.
Small sharp fine pointed scissors.

Dates:  Saturday 20th August and Saturday 27th August

Times:  9.30am to 3,30pm

This will include 28x28 cm silk dupion, 28x28 cm backing fabric,15x15 cm fused organza and 15x15 cm calico.
2x 28 guage wire.
DMC threads.
Petite beads.
Bead thread.
