Start Stitching - Beginners - Journal Cover

Continuing the ‘Start Stitching’ program for this year is a project of Crewel Embroidery in the form of an A5 Journal Cover.  Enjoy learning how to decorate and make a fabric cover for your favourite book or journal.  A great idea for gift giving too!

The Paisley design is pre-printed onto strong fabric, worked in 2ply wool and introduces six different stitches.

Wool Embroidery works up quickly, giving you a finished item in two afternoon workshops.  Added decoration achieved using beads and metallic thread.

The instruction includes making up the journal cover - no sewing machine essential.  You may prefer to rework the completed design into a frame of your choice or hoop mounted.

This workshop will be conducted over two Saturday afternoons in August and September 2023
