WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
The inspiration for this workshop has come from my love embroideries of animals and plants of the Elizabethan period. The embroidery is stitched in gumnut yarn silk threads on 55 count Kingston linen.
The panel features a lion stitched in needlelace surrounded by flowers, plants, insects and small creatures. This workshop is aimed at teaching you the complexities of stitching animals and learning to shape them, so they look three-dimensional and life-like.
If desired, participants can purchase the other animal kits from Maree on the day. Please indicate on the enrolment form, the kit you would like to purchase.
