Venue:  Guild House, 565 Canning Highway, Alfred Cove.

Carol Cooke, author of Improv Embroidery and Contemplation Cloth, and Co Editor - Exuberance: An Embroiderers Perspective encourages you to be rule breakers and gain a sense of freedom. Why not push the boundaries of stitch techniques and maybe fostering a sense of liberation and originality. Instead of adhering to commercial patterns, Carol chats about the way forward to developing your own distinct styles, becoming trailblazers in the art of embroidery.

About Carol Cooke:

You may be curious to know who I am. I have gone down many paths but have always been making something.  University gave me courage and confidence to be this new person.  Retirement came suddenly late one night, when an offer to sell our busy company became a reality.  Since then, I am busier than before, but being busy doing what I want. Stitching calms me. It allows me to breathe. It takes away stress and worry.

Because I am Anything But Zen
