A frosty blue and silver Christmas bauble featuring radiating, silver bands centred on a silver gilt leather star.
Stitched on a hand dyed cotton sateen fabric. The reverse side of the bauble is a complimentary blue and silver cotton fabric.
The radiating bands of Raised Stem stitch are worked in stranded cotton and outlined with a fine silver thread in Back stitch.
A double layer of felt padding gives lift to the silver leather star which is outlined with a silver metallic thread. Silver spangles and beads add to the starry look.
Two pre cut 75mm cardboard discs are covered and joined together - finished with a silver twisted cord and complementary bead.
