Description:
A white linen drawstring bag, featuring a design of Australian wildflowers.
Deerfield embroidery used stitches that were economical with thread and hard wearing.
Jacobean style flora and Elizabethan coiled stems are also a nod to its roots.
It is worked in a range of green stranded cotton thread. Or you can stitch it in a range of blues (traditional Deerfield colours).

Rita has been a member of the guild for nearly 30 years.
"Spent a lifetime of creating something or other, yet walked into the Guild nearly 30 years ago and felt that this was where I belonged. I gathered techniques and ideas like a greedy child set loose. As a trained teacher, sharing the outcomes of my playing, and guiding like-minded souls is another happy place.
