Boris Beetle is luxuriously clothed in gold, purple and green. He has delicate wire mesh and bead underlings, a gorgeous green organza abdomen, and his wings are beautiful golden spirals with green bead accents. Boris measures 50 mm by 40 mm.
Stitching Boris will teach you some basic goldwork skills such as padding, couching cords and wires, and working with leather. Some essential stumpwork techniques are also covered, and you will also learn how to make a completely detached piece of embroidery. 
An added bonus is that you will have a beautiful piece of art to wear as a brooch

Registrations open: 15/12/2022

This workshop will be taught over two consecutive Sundays in May.  This gives you the opportunity to do a little homework stitching and return on the following Sunday to complete the project.

Dates: Sunday 21st & Sunday 28th May 2023

Time: 9.30am to 3.30pm

Skill Level:  Beginner in technique, basic embroidery skills necessary. 

Class Fees: Kit cost $55.00   paid in cash to tutor on day 1 of workshop
