Start Stitching - Beginners Canvas Work

This workshop will be conducted over two Saturday afternoons in February and March 2023.  We are delighted that It will be taught by our designer, Ann-Marie, who is well known internationally for her amazing, colourful Canvas work designs. 

This is a fun workshop where you can learn to make something beautiful using lovely silk threads.  The stitch combinations are such that many patterns can emerge. This small sample square can be used to accent a pocket, made into a small pincushion or used to decorate a book, a bag or box cover.  In our second session we will teach you how to make a hand twisted cord using your choice of coloured threads.

Our kit contains the comprehensive instructions to complete the design, the beautiful silk threads, needles and small scissors.  A hoop is not required for this project.  An extra piece of canvas is provided for practice of stitches.

Class Fees: $90.00, includes Kit and 5 hours of tuition

All items required for this mini course will be provided in a boxed kit.

Enough fabric and threads to complete the project

Small scissors,

Printed design and full instructions for completing and finishing
